For more than 40 years, Paul Penders, our CEO and founder, has been adamant about testing cosmetics on animals.

"If our products are completely natural and safe, why must we torture rabbits and mice?" Paul asks.

For sticking to his no-animal testing principle, Paul has had to fight the Dutch government and cosmetic giants back in 1984.

Deeply frustrated, he moved to the United States where he was welcomed for his unerring beliefs about animal testing. He spent many delightful years in California before relocating to the stunning island of Langkawi Geopark, listed among the world famous UNESCO Global Geoparks of the world.
